The Workshop

TouchDesigner LIVE workshop node

One week, with nothing else around. Just TouchDesigner and you. We work in a secluded location, in a small group, with the tools of real-time visual creation.

The workshop starts at the beginner-to-intermediate level and moves through generative graphics, audio-reactive systems, projection mapping and DMX-based light control (preparing and programming real lighting fixtures together) toward your own live performance.

Mentor

András László Nagy

Visual artist and live-visual creator, one of the defining figures of the TouchDesigner community. He developed the application powering Astrum, which turned Riyadh's skyline into a living planetarium, and created Luminary Glyphs at Signal Festival, alongside stage visuals and mapping projects all around the world. He has taught TouchDesigner in Sydney and currently teaches at MOME in Budapest.

Excursions

Every day we plan a hike or walk in the stunning landscape surrounding the venue. Volcanic hills, vineyards, basalt ridges and quiet lakeshores of the Káli Basin.

Time outside is part of the week, not a side note. Walking together resets the eyes, opens conversations and brings new ideas back to the studio.
